The Orbits of 1,400 Asteroids NASA Says Could Smash the Earth

In case you didn’t have enough to worry about, NASA says there are over 1,400 Potentially Hazardous Asteroids (PHAs) orbiting our sun. If it makes you feel any better, this visualization of their orbits is kinda pretty. The beauty of impending destruction.

Project Maverick.

Still a work in progress. Took 3hrs to make a 16sec clip. Turned out better than I thought. :D Watch it in HD!!!

Woah! This is stunningly beautiful. Captured by the Hubble Telescope in the last 14 years, this is only a fraction of the photos that has yet to come. It takes about 100,000 years for the stellar jet fire to complete its process.

It kinda reminds of Bifrost from Thor and traveling from Earth to Asgard.
